The Big Sick movie is a story about two different nationalities living in a same country yet sharing different cultures and principles. I really understand that there are religions and races believing fixed-marriages are fine and a must, while there are others love-marriages must be the right thing. But, on this situation, parents know better and they must follow rules unless they will be cast out the family. It's hard to have a conservative family like that, you cannot decide for your own happiness. So, this love story broke a record and proved anyone can still choose and that love conquers all. It's a touching story though. It's not that special that you'll feel full of love and will seem like a fairytale, but it's what happens in reality of human beings. It was good.
